He is joined by his Clinical Director, David, who has a wealth of knowledge in sleep disordered breathing and studied under some of the most renowned educators in dental sleep medicine.

Dr. Held, working in tandem with a licensed sleep physician, will determine if oral appliance therapy would be effective for you based on an exam and your symptoms. Once you have an appliance, a sleep test will be completed to confirm it’s working.
No! You can schedule a visit with us even if you haven’t undergone a sleep test yet. Dr. Held can give you a screening to see if you likely have sleep apnea, and if needed, he can even organize for you to complete a sleep test.
No! While most of our patients are referred to us by their sleep doctors, cardiologists, pulmonologists, ENTs, and general practitioners, we also see patients all the time who haven’t talked to any other medical professional about their sleep issues.
Yes, the cost of the sleep apnea treatment we provide is often covered by medical insurance, including Medicare. We can discuss how we can use your plan during your initial consultation.
Your initial consultation at Sleep Better Southwest will be 100% free. During this appointment, you’ll have a chance to talk about your struggles, and Dr. Held will perform a screening and let you know if you’re a good candidate for oral appliance therapy.
